Ayers and Williams close to decision

Four-star Union Grove defensive end Anthony Williams enjoyed his visit to Georgia Tech so much over the weekend that he extended his stay through Sunday afternoon.

"My visit went really well and I got along with all the recruits, coaches, and players I met," Williams said. "My favorite part of the visit was the locker room."

Several players got a chance to go into the Georgia Tech locker room and tour the facilities. Williams did not participate in the camp, but instead toured the campus and watched everything from the sidelines. He really enjoyed getting to hang with a pair of current Yellow Jackets.

"I got to stay at Georgia Tech and hang with Kyle Jackson and Jason Peters," he said. "I got home on Sunday around four or five p.m. I got to learn a lot more about the school side of Georgia Tech as far as classes go."

Williams is inching closer to a decision and he was going on visiting Florida on Tuesday, but he canceled the trip and he has postponed any other visits.

"I was planning on going down to Florida on Tuesday, but now I am not going," Williams said. "I just need some time to think about my decision and make sure about what I want to do. I am not really sure when I will make a decision."

Ayers getting closer to a decision

Four-star cornerback Ryan Ayers really enjoyed his visit to Georgia Tech on Saturday, it appears a showdown between the Yellow Jackets and Georgia is shaping up. Ayers had originally planned to camp at both Alabama and Florida, but those plans appear to be off.

"I am going to visit Georgia and Georgia Tech one more time and then I am going to make my decision," Ayers said.

Ayers is scheduled to visit Georgia Tech on Wednesday.
