Taking a look around this week's prep football results and keeping tabs on the players who are currently committed to Central Michigan.

DL Andy Phillips, Waverly
-Waverly lost their third game in a row as they fell 41-14 against Mason. Phillips recorded 11 tackles and was also the team's punter, but did not play on offense. He told ChippewaCountry he is about 70% right now due to a nagging shoulder injury.

QB Cody Kater, Montague
-Kater and Montague continued their dominance in a 62-12 victory over Hart. Kater played only limited minutes do to the score, but still made his mark as he ran twice for 66 yards and 2 TDs, and completed 2-5 passes for 82 yards and 2 TDs. And to answer the lingering question, yes, every time he completed a pass or ran, he scored a touchdown. Montague is now 3-0 and still charging for a Division 6 championship repeat.

LB Nores Fradi, Dearborn
-Dearborn dropped their first game of the season as they fell to Dearborn Ford 27-12.

S Steven Bell, Detroit Cooley
-Cooley was victorious over Detroit Pershing 20-6. Bell had an 85 yard kickoff return and plays quarterback/safety for his team also. Cooley is now 1-1 on the season.

DL Kevin Henry, Morris (IL)
-Henry tallied 11 tackles and 3 sacks as Morris beat a previously undefeated LaSalle Peru team 32-25. Henry also anchored a solid rushing attack on the offensive line.

WR Montrel Robinson, Southfield Lathrup

OL Kent King, Gladstone
-Gladstone improved to 3-0 as they defeated a tough Negaunee squad 12-8.
