Five-star defensive end has a top six

Plano (TX) West defensive end Jackson Jeffcoat has been a hot topic in recruiting circles for some time now. He earned Class 5A all-state honors as a freshman and became somewhat of a legend before he was even able to drive a car. It also helps that he is the son of former Dallas Cowboy great and current University of Houston assistant coach Jim Jeffcoat.

However, now that the five-star prospect is a senior, he has disappeared in a way. He rarely does interviews, instead focusing on his on-the-field play. However, colleges from all over the country have continued to court the 6-foot-5, 240-pound defender. Recently, he narrowed his list of suitors down to a top six.
