Hardin prepares to make an impact
One of the 'sleeper' prospects of the 2007 class was Honolulu (Haw.) Kamehameha cornerback Brandon Hardin. With an early offer from Hawaii on the table, Hardin played the waiting game and ended up with a scholarship to Oregon State.
One of the fastest players to come out of Hawaii, the Oregon State coaches were excited by Hardin's speed and agility. Since entering the program, he has been a workout warrior and has gained 25 pounds of muscle over his high school days.
After a standout year on special teams, Hardin suffered a wrist injury that hampered his progress a bit. Off-season surgery has him on the road to recovery, although he still has a ways to go before returning to full strength.
