Dixon has great trip out West

One of the two uncommitted players that were on hand this weekend to watch the Ducks take care of Washington State was rover prospect, Issac Dixon out of Monsignor Pace High School in the Miami area. Due to his schedule, Issac was not able to make it out until Saturday afternoon but he stayed into the night on Sunday and was able to see all he needed to in order to confirm what he has felt about Oregon for a long time now.

The 5-foot-11, 195-pounder came away with some strong feelings towards Oregon as a school, an area and especially a football program. Duck Sports Authority caught up with Isaac upon his return home and he broke down what made this visit such a memorable one for him.

"I liked it a lot. It was everything I expected and a lot more. I had high expectations but they were met by the time the game rolled around and it only got better from there" said Dixon.

Despite getting in late, Dixon made it in time to get involved with all the pre-game team meetings and participate in the Saturday activities. As he described it, he felt like he was already a part of the team and that made him feel comfortable from that point on.

"I got to sit through some meetings and go over the game plan with the players and the coaches so that was cool. The coaches did a great job getting the guys ready and it showed out there. That defense is fast, they play hard and they are physical. I could definitely see myself playing on that defense."

When he arrived, one of the first things he did after meeting everyone was to watch the pre-game motivational video and as he put it, "I got goose bumps and I was ready to go to war. I was ready to get out there myself."
