Tuesday's Top Tigers makes its return to PowerMizzou.com. A player's ranking one week has no bearing on his placement on the list the next week. Here is our take on the Tigers who had the best performances in the 41-26 victory over Georgia:

Tuesday's Top Tigers
RANK PLAYER THE ANALYSIS LAST WEEK
1 L'Damian Washington, WR Washington told his teammates to trust him and then went out and rewarded the trust with seven catches for 115 yards and two scores, including the game-changer that put Mizzou up 34-26 in the fourth quarter.3
2 Braylon Webb, S With eight tackles and multiple passes defended, how good was Webb? Good enough we put him higher on the list than the SEC defensive player of the week. NR
3 Kentrell Brothers, LB Speaking of the player of the week, that would be Brothers, who had a career-high ten tackles and the interception that iced the game in the waning moments. 8
4 Marcus Murphy, RB Murphy only had 57 yards on five carries, but the 36-yard score was a huge play and he added a big kick return that was a step or two from going the distance. NR
5 Michael Sam, DE Sam had a game-changing scoop and score touchdown that gave the Tigers a 28-10 second quarter lead. He also had a sack that didn't stand due to an offsides penalty. He continues to play at an all-conference level 2
6 Markus Golden, DE Golden was officially listed with just two tackles, one of them a sack. But he also recovered a fumble and seemed to simply be all over the field. 4
7 Randy Ponder, CB Ponder had five tackles and the interception that set the Tigers up for the game-clinching touchdown after running mate E.J. Gaines left in the second quarter. NR
8 John Gibson, CB With Gaines out, the Bulldogs tried repeatedly to pick on the redshirt freshman. It didn't seem to work very well. NR
9 Bud Sasser, WR He caught one pass for 21 yards and I honestly don't even remember it. But anytime a wide receiver throws the most important pass of the day (season?) he makes the list. NR
10 Maty Mauk, QB Mauk came in on third and six and ran for a first down. He threw a good pass to Dorial Green-Beckham to set up the final touchdown. Mauk was put in a tough spot and the Tigers outscored UGA 13-0 after he came in. NR
11 Aarion Penton, CB Like Gibson and Mauk, Penton makes the list for responding well when put in a tough situation. Gaines went out and the Mizzou secondary did a nice job securing a W without its best player. NR
