On another sunny and humid day, Florida's offense made strides during its sixth practice open to the general public at Dizney Lacrosse Stadium on Thursday morning. Inside the Gators will have more observations of the 11th day of fall camp later, but for now here's an Instant Analysis of what happened on Thursday.

QUICK OVERVIEW: During Thursday's practice, we saw a lot of leaders rise on the first team offense and defense. Kickoff formations were a part of Tuesday's practice, and there was more preparation than usual on formations compared to positional drills. Close to two weeks into camp, things are starting to take shape for the Gators.

THUMBS UP: Vertical game. We saw plenty of deep throws from Jeff Driskel and Treon Harris connect, and the offense looked as exciting as ever Thursday. On a pass-heavy practice, we saw plenty of heaves find the hands of receivers.

THUMBS DOWN: Protecting middle field. Florida's offense exploited the defense with passes down the middle to receivers for touchdowns during full skeletons and 11-on-11s. The most notable example was Mack Brown's wide-open TD grab on a sharp Driskel pass up the center of the field.

1. Jeff Driskel - Driskel threw the ball considerably better as pass progressed and found a good rapport with receivers Ahmad Fulwood and Quinton Dunbar.
2. Treon Harris - Although still a work in progress, Harris looked considerably better than Will Grier on Thursday. The freshman dual-threat signal caller made a few nice plays with his arm - including a long touchdown pass to C.J. Worton in skeletons.
3. Vernon Hargreaves III - Wearing a non-contact jersey, the sophomore corner saw the most action he has since Thursday and excelled in coverage. The bone bruise in his left knee seems like a thing of the past.
4. Jalen Tabor - The freshman cornerback bounced back in a big way Thursday, earning an acrobatic pick on fourth down during the two-minute drill.
5. Gerald Willis - The freshman defensive lineman had another productive day, consistently working the edges well and earning consecutive would-be sacks on one drive.

THIS AND THAT: Matt Jones (knee swelling) missed his second straight practice. ... Dante Fowler Jr., Hargreaves, Adam Lane and J.C. Jackson all wore orange non-contact jerseys. ... Trip Thurman (shoulder), who missed Wednesday's practice, Duke Dawson (shoulder), Daniel McMillian (undisclosed) and Garrett Stephens all worked out in the pit.
