Reynolds, Gordon steal show in NBPA Camp finale

The last day turned out to be the best day at the NBPA Top 100 Camp in Richmond, VA. Sunday morning and afternoon the campers were laying it all on the line, diving for loose balls, taking charges, and hustling on defense. In the end, it was [db]Kevin Durant[/db]'s Nuggets taking on the surprising Kings for the title in a rematch of a bitterly fought pool play game from earlier in the week. Rivals.com has a recap on all of the action from the last day of camp.

In the Gold Division final the Kings, led by hot shooting [db]Scotty Reynolds[/db], overcame an early double digit deficit to defeat the Nuggets 90-78. Reynolds finished with 26 points to lead all scorers. [db]Eric Gordon[/db] chipped-in 14 points, and it was his defense that helped key the Kings' run in the second half. [db]Jamie Skeen[/db] also came up big down the stretch with 12 points and 6 rebounds, and [db]Corey Stokes[/db] added 11 points and 6 boards.

For the Nuggets Durant had 16 points, but most of those came in the first half. He was short on most of his shots late in the game and looked generally fatigued. [db]DaJuan Summers[/db] capped off a fabulous camp with 19 points and 9 rebounds in the final. [db]Reggie Redding[/db] added 12 points and 6 rebounds, and [db]Doug Wiggins[/db] had 10 points in the loss.

[db]Kevin Love[/db] also finished the week on a high note, scoring 21 points and grabbing 8 rebounds in the Pacers' 76-69 win over the Wizards in the Silver Division final. [db]Duke Crews[/db] had 12 points and 7 boards, and [db]Tom Herzog[/db] had 10 points and 7 boards.

[db]Darrell Arthur[/db] had 18 points and 7 rebounds in the loss to lead the Wizards. [db]Mike Beasley[/db] had 16 points and 6 rebounds, and [db]Tyreke Evans[/db] added 15 points.

Bolingbrook, Illinois point guard[db]Will Walker[/db] made a 3 pointer at the buzzer to lead the Rockets to a thrilling 74-73 win over the Celtics in the Bronze Division final. [db]Jermaine Beal[/db] scored 18 points to lead the Rockets. [db]Alex Stepheson[/db] had 16 points, Walker had 14, and [db]Tre'von Willis[/db] added 12.

[db]Jerryd Bayless[/db] had 16 points to lead the Celtics. [db]Tywon Lawson[/db] had 15 points, and [db]Taylor King[/db] had 12 points and 7 rebounds in the loss.
