Corley ready to compete at All-American Bowl
East Team (roster)

Corley in action
Make no mistake about it, Mobile (Ala.) McGill-Toolen defensive end Sidell Corley is always ready to compete against the best.
The 6-foot-4, 260-pounder will get his chance at the inaugural Offense-Defense All-American Bowl. Corley has been named to the East squad as a defensive end. He is one of three top prospects from the state of Alabama to participate in the game, joining defensive tackle Kerry Murphy and safety Michael McNeil.
The contest between the East and West squads will kick off at 5 p.m. Eastern on Thursday, Jan. 4 and will be televised live by ESPNU. Rivals.com is the official selection partner of the event.
Corley, who is verbally committed to Florida but is also looking at Alabama and Auburn, said he was excited about being a member of such a talented group heading to Fort Lauderdale from the Yellowhammer State.
"It's a good opportunity (to represent the state)," he said. "I just hope I can represent Alabama well. I think Alabama is very underrated in terms of talent, and I think we all will go out and prove it."
Corley, a Rivals100 selection, is rated as the No. 2 overall prospect in the state of Alabama and is the No. 53 prospect in the nation.
"I can move well for my size," Corley said. "But I can also stand up and play linebacker if I need to."
Corley looks forward to matching his skills against the offensive linemen from the East team in practice and against the West in the game.
"I feel like the East has the best linemen in the country," he said. "In the game and in the practices, it's going to be a new taste of offensive linemen because I'm used to the Southern country guys. The guys from out West may use better technique or something like that."
