Pac-Tending 09-19-07

"If you win, you win a lot of people over."

- Arizona State head football coach Dennis Erickson.

Meanwhile, at NCAA HQ, the NCAA introduced a proposal that will ban schools from cutting financial aid to athletes for any injury or medical condition including pregnancy and eating disorders. The proposal may be put into effect as early as autumn. The NCAA has also teamed with the national governing body for USA swimming to develop a national times database that would ease registrations for championship meets.
