2017 Fearless Forecast: Predicting where commits and targets will sign

Two years ago, on National Signing Day Eve, Inside the Gators recruiting analyst Blake Alderman was an astounding 15-of-17 predicting where Florida targets would sign.

Last year there were many less uncommitted targets to choose from, but he still finished picking 6-of-8 correctly.

Will he come anywhere close to that prediction accuracy this time around?

We'll find out on Wednesday.

Here are his predictions on where 10 Florida targets will land as of Tuesday evening:

------

* Signing Day Storylines

* Florida lands huge commitment

* Four-star Edwards going back and forth

* Alley: Take two off the board

* Four-star wide out Robinson won't sign with Florida

* Inside Scoop on weekend official visitors

* Cassidy: Four-star Edwards to Florida?

* Take Wyatt off the board

* GET TWO FREE MONTHS ACCESS

------

* Two-star linebacker LaCedrick Brunson

When: Between 10:30 and 11 AM at his high school

Finalists: Florida and FIU

Blake’s Take: After an official visit to Florida this past weekend, Brunson left with the Gators on top. He says he will make his commitment the morning of National Signing day. At this point the pick here looks to be Florida if the Gators want him add him tomorrow.

Final Forecast: Florida

Confidence: Low (Florida will only take him if they miss out on other targets)

* Four-star defensive end K’Lavon Chaisson

When: Noon EST at his high school

Finalists: Colorado, Florida, LSU, and Texas

Blake’s Take: Florida hosted this four-star defender on campus last weekend, but will likely not be landing his commitment. LSU and Texas have been the main two suitors here, and many feel he will stay close to home and roll with the Longhorns.

Final Forecast: Texas

Confidence Level: Medium

* Four-star defensive back Brian Edwards

When: 1:00 at his school

Finalists: Florida, Louisville, and Miami

Blake’s Take: This four-star safety had been a lean to Miami heading into his Florida visit this past weekend. The Gators staff really impressed Edwards and has closed the gap, and are now seen as the team to beat here. Edwards been mulling things over the last 24 hours, but the latest buzz seems to be positive for the Gators.

Final Forecast: Florida

Confidence Level: Low
