After taking notes throughout Friday's Orange & Blue Debut and then reviewing the film the next day, Inside the Gators presents a list of in-depth offensive observations from UF's spring game.

--On the first play of the game, the first-team offense on the Orange squad consisted of: quarterback Feleipe Franks, running back Jordan Scarlett, wide receivers Antonio Callaway and Brandon Powell, tight ends C’yontai Lewis and DeAndre Goolsby, left tackle Martez Ivey, left guard Brett Heggie, center T.J. McCoy, right guard Fred Johnson and right tackle Jawaan Taylor.

--The second team offense on the Blue squad on its first snap: quarterback Kyle Trask, running back Lamical Perine, wide receivers Tyrie Cleveland and Hammond, tight ends Kemore Gamble and Moral Stephens, left tackle Kadeem Telfort, left guard Nick Buchanan, center Tyler Jordan, right guard Johnson, right tackle Stone Forsythe.

--In his second spring game, Franks looked much more confident and calm running the offense as compared to a year ago, when he tossed three picks on his first four throws and looked flustered as an early enrollee. Franks has noticeably improved his throwing motion, release and footwork in the pocket, while showcasing his arm talent on a 46-yard pass to Joshua Hammond on the opening drive.

--On that 46-yard pass to Hammond, Franks made a great read. After faking the handoff to Scarlett in play action, Franks found Hammond working 1-on-1 against cornerback McArthur Burnett and tossed a perfectly placed deep ball with nice touch down the right sideline. Hammond got a step on Burnett and gained separation to make the grab.
