After a furious finish to the summer vaulted Florida to the top 10 of the 2018 recruiting rankings it has been a little quiet on the recruiting front lately with the Gators receiving their last commitment over a month ago.

That changed on Saturday when Florida added a defensive end from the Class of 2020, their first pledge in that cycle, right before they kicked off against Tennessee in The Swamp.

Green Cove Springs (Fla.) Clay High 6-foot-4, 220-pound lineman Josh Griffis is Florida's newest commit.

Since there is no hashtag for 2020 commits yet, Jim McElwain sent out this one later in the evening.
