It was less then a week ago when Tampa (Fla.) Wharton five-star cornerback Vernon Hargreaves III announced his top five via Twitter.
At that time he named the Florida Gators as his No. 1 school.
On Thursday the nation's No. 9 rated prospect took a trip down to the University of Florida campus with fellow Rivals100 member Jordan Sherit and 2014 standout quarterback Chase Litton.
After returning home from his day long visit to Florida, Hargreaves once again turned to Twitter, this time to announce his commitment:
"I can officially say I have committed to THE University of Florida! #GoGators CHOMP CHOMP"
Two weeks ago, after visiting several west coast programs and tweeting that Southern Cal was his leader, it appeared as though the Gators were falling down the list of the nation's No. 2 rated cornerback.
However, less than a week ago he named a top five, which didn't include the Trojans, but instead had UF sitting atop his list.
And now today, he is on Florida's commitment list.
Hargreaves chose the Gators over a final five which also consisted of Clemson, Miami, Notre Dame, and Vanderbilt.
Stay tuned to Inside the Gators for an Impact Analysis, a closer look at what this commitment means for the Florida Gators.
