The Gators are on the hunt for a stable of blue-chip defenders along the defensive line, but question marks remain and Dan Mullen's staff has found themselves expanding their big board in recent weeks as well.

The likes of Nathan Pickering and Jaren Handy, who are committed to Mississippi State and Auburn, respectively, have official visits scheduled for later in the year, but now UF is making its move with Brandon Dorlus.

Dorlus, a Virginia Tech commit hailing from Deerfield Beach (Fla.) High, received an official offer from the Gators on Wednesday and says it didn't come by complete surprise as well.
