With Malik Zaire planning on transferring to Florida, there are plenty of questions to go around concerning the Notre Dame graduate transfer quarterback and how he fits into the Gators' plans moving forward.

Zaire’s resume at Notre Dame was fairly small, appearing in 17 games but starting just three. Even though we’re basing it off of a tiny sample size, how would you say he performed when he was on the field? Truly how good did he look to you?
Somogyi: Malik could be electric on occasions and would show them in flashes. In his three starts, he was the MVP in the 2014 Music City Bowl win over LSU (96 yards rushing and 96 passing while going 12-of-15), was a phenomenal 19 of 22 for 313 yards and four TDs in the 38-3 win over Texas in the 2015 opener and was doing okay at Virginia in the next game before he had his season ending injury. In that small sample size when he had a chance to be in for several series in a row, he did some stellar work.
