Big County Preps Florida Recruiting Notes
LAKELAND, Fla. | Inside the Gators has the latest on one Florida commit and two Gators targets who participated in Big County Preps Xecutives camp on Sunday.
2019 DEFENDER TALKS EARLY COMMITMENT
The Florida Gators are off to a hot start for their 2019 recruiting class with two early commitments already in the fold. The latest addition to that class was Largo (Fla.) defensive tackle Jaquaze Sorrells, who committed on the spot after landing an offer at one of Florida’s summer football camps.
“Florida has always been my dream school and I did really good in all my testing and stuff at camp," said Sorrells. "I ran like a 4.77 40-yard dash. Measured well and they offered and I committed on the spot.”
Though the 6-foot-4, 250-pounder decided to commit early he still plans to go forward with visits down the road with a few on tap for the summer months.
“I am very very solid with Florida, they are my dream school, but at the same time still open because I am going to visit Florida State, Miami, and Iowa for unofficial visits.”
