Xavier Thomas: His mother attended UF, he has family in the area and at one time he had Florida in his top 10, bu then announced it was down to the two in-state schools. But then has been on other visits and says he will continue to see other programs. One thing is certain, everyone is chasing Clemson and South Carolina. Thomas’ mother attended UF and he still has family in the area.
ON THE RADAR Â
Malcolm Lamar: Florida is the dream school for this four-star pass rusher. He says he will take his time with a decision, but Florida seems to be the team to beat. He visited Gainesville last weekend.
Kayode Oladele: Despite committing to Florida State it’s possible to see Oladele continue to take visits before signing on the dotted line.
Jamarcus Chatman: After landing an offer from the Gators a few weeks ago, Chatman has narrowed his focus to 10 schools, and the Gators made the cut.
