Before the first week of June, Miami (Fla.) Booker T. Washington wide receiver Tyquan Thornton wasn't even a blip on the radar when it comes to the world of Florida Gators recruiting.

As a low [5.5] three-star – who was at that point committed to Baylor - he wasn't really given much of a second thought.

Then, after earning offers from Florida and Miami over the course of a single weekend due to standout camp performances, his stock began to rise and with that the offers started pouring in.

Even with the increased interest, many believed this to be a Gators-Hurricanes battle, and six days ago he tweeted out a top five consisting of Baylor, Florida, Georgia, Miami and Pittsburgh.

It didn't take long for that top five to turn into a final one.
