Decision Day: Rivals250 lineman ready to announce

On Thursday a name that has been high on Florida's recruiting board will make his college announcement known when Jacksonville (Fla.) Providence Rivals250 offensive tackle David Sharpe decides between Clemson, Florida, Georgia, LSU and Tennessee.
This is the third attempt at a college announcement for the four-star big man, with his two previous attempts being postponed due to logistical reasons. If the third time is indeed a charm, the ceremony is scheduled to begin just before 11:00 a.m. at a Jacksonville sports bar/restaurant.

Putting his commitment in the rear view is something the 6-foot-8, 295-pounder is looking forward to doing.
"I am just ready to get this over with so I can focus on the rest of my senior year. I have my mind already made up and am excited to let the world know where I will be attending college at."
Sharpe officially visited Tennessee and Florida earlier this fall and also has taken unofficial visits to Georgia, Clemson, and FSU. He is the 23rd rated offensive tackle in 2014 and the 53rd overall rated player in the state of Florida.
