Florida achieved its first double-digit victory of the season and moved to 3-0 in SEC play with a 38-24 win over Vanderbilt.

1. Feleipe Franks had his best overall performance:

Florida coaches had to be encouraged how Franks handled his benching. Head coach Jim McElwain said the redshirt freshman had a good week of practice and he looked well-prepared to play on Saturday. Franks’ decision-making still has a long way to go, but the second half showed that the Gators can win with Franks at quarterback – and not just on last-second heaves to the end zone. He finished 10-of-14 for 185 yards with no interceptions. Not a performance for the ages, but a step in the right direction.
