Five-star has great visit to Florida
Saturday was a big day on and off the field for the University of Florida coaching staff. On the field the Gators hosted LSU and came away with a 14-6 win. Off the field the staff played host to several of the top prospects on their board, including Vienna (Ga.) Dooly County defensive tackle Montravius Adams.
After the game the Rivals100 member raved about his first game at the Swamp.

"I had a great day today at Florida," said Adams. "I loved everything. They played great defense and I want to be on a team that plays great defense."
The five-star rated prospect stated he has previously had interest in the Gators, but after what he saw on Saturday, his interest has gone up, but not to the extent that he is willing to finally name a leader.
"I mean they were always high, but after what I saw them do tonight, I like them. I don't have a leader yet."
With Florida expecting to lose several defensive linemen off a squad which dominated LSU on Saturday, after the game the 6-foot-3, 290-pound tackle spoke with some of the Florida coaches about how early he could see playing time if he were to pick the Gators.
"They want me to come back for an official in December and that they want me to play end or tackle it doesn't matter. They want to give me the opportunity to start as a true freshman. That's what I want."
As he and his family were leaving the stadium to return back home to Georgia, Adams had a chance to speak to Florida defensive line coach Bryant Young.
"He wants me to come here [to Florida] so he can teach me everything that he knows and to teach me how to be a Hall of Famer one day."
Adams said that not only did he speak to the Florida coaches, but he had a chance to interact with a certain player at his position.
"I talked to Shariff [Floyd]. He said that I should come here (Florida)."
The talented big man was accompanied to the game by his mother, who is very involved in his recruiting process, and said she too also enjoyed Gainesville.
"She spoke to the coaches and she liked everything," said Adams.
Adams, who still has wide range of schools he is considering, said that he has a few other unofficial visits planned for this fall. As of today, the only one he knows of off the top of his head would be when Alabama plays Tennessee.
