UPDATE

Inside the Gators has been told that Florida is not hosting any official visitors this weekend.

Atlanta (Ga.) Pace five-star offensive guard Jamaree Slayer, the No. 10 rated prospect in the nation, hasn't been shy about the fact that Clemson and Georgia are his top two.

However, this coming weekend Florida will have an opportunity to get their foot in the door with the 6-foot-4, 305-pounder.

“I know for sure I’ll take an official to Florida this weekend for the LSU game. I’ll be going to Ohio State and Penn State, as well," Salyer told Jake Reuse of UGASports.com. "I’ve got to figure out when I’m going to Clemson. Possibly I’ll take one to Georgia, but I’ve just got to see about that.”

Jim McElwain's Gators, a bit of a late addition to Salyer's consideration list, have a chance to make up ground during this weekend's trip.

“I just want to get a feel for the program," Salyer said. "Coach [Brad] Davis visited me a couple of times in the spring. I’m really interested in what he has to offer me as a coach and what they offer as a program as a whole.”
