With the SEC Championship Game now over and done with Florida's coaching staff can focus on getting better. How do you do that? You hit the recruiting trail hard this final week of the contact period.
The entire coaching staff will be out in full force today, checking in on many of their top commits and targets.
Inside the Gators takes a look at their stops.
Head coach Jim McElwain and offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier will have the most important visit of the day as they conduct an in-home visit with quarterback transfer Jarrett Stidham. The Gators are chasing Auburn here, the presumed team to beat, in hopes of getting an official visit from him this coming weekend. Stidham, who has three years of eligibility left, hopes to have a decision in place after the dead period kicks in. With the Gators woes at quarterback this season, Stidham would be a huge boost.
