After winning two close calls to open SEC play, Florida enters the bye week with back-to-back losses in games decided by two points or loss. The struggling Gators (3-3, 3-2 SEC) will have to regroup before facing No. 3 Georgia on Oct. 27.

Inside the Gators uses the break in the season to deliver our midseason superlatives.

THE PLAYERS

MVP Offense: Malik Davis

The freshman running back has been the most consistently productive player on offense this season. After only recording one carry for eight yards against Michigan, Davis rushed for at least 90 yards in each of the last five games. Sophomore running back Lamical Perine has more touchdowns than Davis (6-to-2), but Davis has nearly double the rushing yards (506-to-272).
