The penultimate day of the Florida Gators Men's Basketball Team Camp featured outstanding performances from a pair of underclassmen, one of them left campus with a scholarship offer and another left with a growing reputation. We also saw 'that kid' who has the physical tools, hasn't put it all together yet but whose development is worth being monitored.

Recruitment: Holds and offer from Florida Gulf Coast plus interest from Florida, South Carolina, Louisville, Rutgers, Dayton and more

His Day: Isaiah Turner is a thin small forward who is just as content to facilitate for his teammates as he is getting buckets. He can dribble and pass against pressure and has a pretty good feel for the game. Turner can also grab a defensive rebound, push the ball on the break and make good decisions on the move. His jump shot needs improvement. Right now Turner is more set shooter, with a low release point, than jump shooter. He also needs to work on his free throw shooting.

Quotable: I played good the first two games. The second game I did great in front of him (Florida head coach Mike White) I had 30 points eight assists. I got rebounds and steals. I have no idea what happened the last game. I've improved my game and got a lot better by the year. It (a Florida offer) would be a big jump start on me being who I am and letting others know my game is improving.

Prediction: Florida will be keeping in touch with Turner. He will be a player before it's done. Once he improves his perimeter shot the high major offers will come.

Note: Unofficially Turner had 16 points in his last game.

Recruitment: Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Massachusetts, North Florida, UNC-Greensboro

His Day: Walker has great size, currently listed at 6-foot-6, and could still be growing. He has a nice high release on his jump shot and has NBA three-point range. Although he is athletic and can finish above the rim Walker is not explosive. He can handle the ball under pressure pretty well, including going to his left. He has a good basketball IQ and understands how to start the break and advanced the ball up court quickly on one or two dribbles. We watched Walker twice Saturday. In the first game he had 27 points, nine rebounds and four blocks. In the second game he played fewer minutes due to foul trouble but still had 18 points, six rebounds, three blocks and two assists. All stats are unofficial.

Quotable: I've been working on my pull up and my three-point shot. I've got to get it consistent, I've got to make it a lot more. I think I played good today, it (the camp) was really fun. Our team got a little bit better, our chemistry got better and I think we learned a lot more since we just started playing together.

Prediction: Walker's recruitment is just starting to take off and eventually will include some of the so-called 'blue bloods'. There is a long way to go here and Florida was smart to get in the mix early with the 15-year old. In fact Walker's father, Corey Walker, Sr., text us that Mike White extended a scholarship offer to his son after he was finished playing in the camp.

Recruitment: Currently no offers

His Day: Reynolds looks the part as a super long young big man but he is clearly still figuring things out and has a ways to go. Reynolds does a good job of sealing his man and presenting a target for an entry pass. He is mobile and agile but his footwork in the paint needs improving.

Coach White has aggressively recruited St. Petersburg while at Louisiana Tech so Reynolds is sure to get scout looks from Florida.

Prediction: As a rising sophomore it is very early in Reynolds' recruitment. The question, at this point is does he have the passion for the game and work ethic to develop his body and skill game to the point where he will get high major looks.

UNOFFICIAL VISITORS

During the second day of the camp, Florida had two unofficial visitors from the 2019 class on campus -- West Potomac (Va) big man Jonas Munson and Orlando Christian Prep forward C.J. Walker. We saw both visitors outside of the practice facility. Munson looked to be 6-foot-11, 190 pounds. Walker is a four-star 6-foot-7, 175-pounder. Both seemed to be enjoying their visit, Walker Tweeted his thoughts last night.
