The first couple of months of the new year have been kind to Coconut Creek (Fla.) North Broward wide receiver Kevin Austin. In just the last couple of weeks alone Austin made a big jump in the latest Rivals recruiting rankings checking in as the 129th best player in the 2018 class. Along with this Austin was also invited to the Nike Opening camp this summer after a standout performance in the Miami Regional camp a few weekends ago.

With all these accolades coming all at once it’s been a whirlwind of emotions for the four-star pass catcher.

“It’s just all been really a blessing to me and just a dream come true,” said Austin. “To get ranked by Rivals.com is a great feeling because growing up that was always a place where the best athletes have been ranked. Same with getting that invite to the Nike Opening, it’s something I have wanted to do since like the 6th grade. So everything has just been amazing.”
