Rivals100 wide receiver Alvin Bailey
Results: Seffner (Fla.) Armwood defeated Brandon (Fla.) 55-0 on Saturday night.

Stats: Bailey had a night much like fellow wide out commit Chris Thompson. The Rivals100 stole the show according to Tampa Bay Online. He recorded two receiving touchdowns of 19 and 3 yards, and a big 76-yard rushing touchdown.
Notes: Bailey capped off his big night on the field by pledging to be the 19th commitment for the Gators Class of 2013.
Up Next: Big game against Delray Beach (Fla) American Heritage (1-0) on Friday.
Rivals100 defensive lineman Caleb Brantley
Results: Crescent City (Fla.) lost to Port Orange (Fla.) Atlantic 28-7.
Brantley's thoughts on UF season opener: "They didn't play to their best in my opinion. They didn't have any pressure at the defensive line at all."
Up Next: Crescent City (0-1) will play at Orange Park (Fla.) Oakleaf (0-1).
Three-star offensive lineman Cameron Dillard
Results: Canton (Mich.) defeated Brighton (Mich.) 31-10 on Thursday.
Stats: According to Dillard he had "12 pancake blocks and a tackle for a loss and sack on defense."
Notes: Dilliard said his next trip to Gainesville: October 6th for the LSU game.
Rivals100 wide receiver Ahmad Fulwood
Results: Jacksonville (Fla.) Bishop Kenny defeated Middleburg (Fla.) 27-0.
Stats: Fulwood had a receiving touchdown, punt return score, and 11 tackles on defense as Bishop Kenny extended its regular season win to streak to 16.
Quotable: "It definitely gave us some momentum. Ahmad is an explosive player and he can take it the distance at any time." - Bishop Kenny coach Mark Thorson told the Florida Times Union.
Up Next: Bishop Kenny (1-0) is at Neptune Beach (Fla.) Fletcher (1-0) on Friday.
Five-star cornerback Vernon Hargreaves III
Results: Tampa (Fla.) Wharton defeated Tampa (Fla) King 27-7.
Stats: According to Tampa Bay Online Hargreaves scored three times on Friday with a 20 yard touchdown reception, 10 yard touchdown run and a 34 yard interception return. He also had another 50 yard interception return negated by a penalty.
Up Next: Friday against Tampa (Fla.) Sickles (1-0).
Three-star wide out Marqui Hawkins
Results: Columbus (Ga.) Carver defeated Columbus (Ga.) Spencer 47-6.
Note: This was Hawkins first game back in action after sitting out nearly five weeks due to a bruised collarbone.
Up Next: Carver (1-0) hosts Columbus (Ga.) Shaw (1-0).
Rivals250 linebacker James Hearns
Results: The Trojans did not play this week and had to cancel their season opener against Pensacola (Fla.) due to Tropical Storm Isaac.
Notes: Hearn and 2014 Lincoln cornerback Kendall Randolph attended the UF opener because of their free weekend.
Up Next: Lincoln will travel to Louisiana to play Covington (La.) St. Paul in the Superdome.
Four-star defensive lineman Joey Ivie
Results: Dade City (Fla.) Pasco had a BYE week.
Thoughts on Florida opener: "It's coming together they should have scored more, but it was a fight for the starting QB spot."
Up Next: Land O'Lakes high school on September 7th.
Three-star offensive tackle Octavius Jackson
Results: Moultrie (Ga.) Colquitt County defeated Thomasville (Ga.) Thomas County Central 28-12.
Up Next: First home game of the regular season for the Packers as they host Lovejoy (Ga.).
Three-star running back Adam Lane
Results: Winter Haven (Fla.) defeated Auburndale (Fla.) 22-3.
Stats: Lane had 12 carries for 125 yards and a touchdown after a slow first half.
On the slow start: "I was a little too anxious (in the first half) and I was getting to the line before my blocks, but I settled down and realized where I was going to run." Lane told Polk Preps.
Up Next: Winter Haven (1-0) will travel to Haines City (Fla) (1-0).
Rivals100 linebacker Daniel McMillian
Results: Jacksonville (Fla.) First Coast defeated Jacksoville (Fla.) Parker 34-12.
Stats: The Rivals100 member had an interception in the win.
Up Next: First Cost (1-0) will face off at home against 2014 Florida commit Travonte Valentine and Palm Bay (Fla.) Bayside (0-1) on Friday.
Rivals250 safety Keanu Neal
Results: South Sumter (Fla.) defeated Wildwood (Fla.) 77-15.
Stats: 2 solo and 3 assist tackles. Also 50 yard touchdown catch on offense playing 1 ½ quarters.
Notes: From Neal's defensive coordinator: "I have coached Earl Everett, Kendall Smith, and Ben Moffitt and he (Keanu) is by far the best I have ever coached."
Up Next: Clermont (Fla.) East Ridge.
Rivals250 linebacker Quinton Powell
Results: Daytona Beach (Fla.) Mainland pulled an upset defeating Deland (Fla) 19-3.
Quotable: "The defense really stood up (Friday night) and showed the defense that we are," Mainland coach Scott Wilson told the Daytona Beach News Journal.
Up Next: The Bucs (1-0) will travel to Orlando (Fla.) Jones (1-0) on Friday.
Three-star defensive end Antonio Riles
Results: Lawrenceville (Ga.) Archer defeated Lawrenceville (Ga.) Mountain View 46-7.
Notes: The defensive end helped Archer roll in a big win over a rival, and played a part in that defense which only gave up one touchdown.
The Result: "It's always great to win your first one of the year," said head coach Andy Dyer told the Gwinnett Daily Post. "Our defense played lights out especially against an offense we don't see that often."
Up Next: Archer (1-0) will play at Sharpsburg (Ga.) East Coweta.
Rivals100 defensive end Jordan Sherit
Results: Tampa (Fla.) Hillsborough defeated Tampa (Fla.) Middleton 38-0.
Notes: Sherit and the rest of the Terrier defense held Middleton's offense to 34 yards and caused four turnovers.
Up Next: Hillsborough travels to Cocoa (Fla.).
Three-star quarterback Max Staver
Results: Brentwood (Tenn.) Brentwood Academy defeated Nashville (Tenn.) Montgomery Bell Academy 24-6.
Stats: Staver threw for 281 yards with a touchdown while also rushing for another two scores and had 30 yards on 6 carries.
On his performance: "I'm not going to run every time, I'm not a speed demon," the 6-foot-5, 230-pounder, who had his team's first two touchdowns on runs of 5 and 1 yards, told the Tennessean. "I've got to be more of a bruising guy. I just want to get the yards we need."
Up Next: Brentwood Academy (2-1) will take on Nashville (Tenn.) Stratford (1-2).
Rivals100 running back Kelvin Taylor
Results: Belle Glades (Fla.) Glades Day defeated Miami (Fla.) Monsignor Pace 28-23.
Stats: Taylor started the season off big in the Friday win; he had just under 315 yards rushing with three touchdowns.
Thoughts on the win: "It was a good team win and I was just glad to get the season started."
Notes: Taylor said his next visit to the Swamp will be October 6th for the LSU game. It will be his official visit.
Three-star wide receiver Chris Thompson
Results: Gainesville (Fla) defeated Yulee (Fla) 51-58 on Thursday.
Stats: Thompson had a big first half with 4 total touchdowns (3 offensive 1 defensive) and had just over 90 total yards in the game. He also blocked an extra point and caught a two point conversion. Saw very limited action second half.
On his performance: "I just wanted to improve from our jamboree game, so it feels good to start of the season right. I wanted to play more, but we have another big game so I just have to get better."
Extra: Thompson visited UF on September 1st vs. Bowling Green.
Up Next: Lake City (Fla.) Columbia (1-0) on Thursday.
Rivals250 safety Nick Washington
Results: Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian lost 27-18 to St. Augustine.
Stats: Washington had 10 catches for 104 yards 40 yard TD catch according to the Florida Times Union.
Up Next: The Florida commits team will travel to Jacksonville (Fla.) Sandalwood to play his friend, and Alabama commit, DeMarcus Walker.
