Former Florida defensive end Johnie Church (1992-1995) shares 10 observations from the Gators' 40-14 win over Missouri.
1) Gator Nation, let's enjoy Eddy Pineiro for what I feel will be a short one and done stay in Gainesville. If he keeps pace with these kick (and it seems he's going to have a lot of field goal opportunities), he'll be a hot commodity for a struggling NFL squad. He will be eligible at the end of this season. The kid is fun to watch and reminds me of Gramatica from the Bucs.
2) We can't seem to get a pulse on a solid offensive start as of yet. However, a rusty quarterback Luke Del Rio coming off of injury isn't a great measuring stick to go off of. This second off week in a three week period should help us continue to get a flow going to start these games on offense.
3) I think I would love to see right tackle Jaawan Taylor & left tackle David Sharpe interchange positions on the line. This is just something that intrigues me when I think about it. This off-week would be a great time to tinker with it prior to the Georgia game.
