Four-star Copeland decommits
Florida suffered through its second decommitment in as many days when Pensacola (Fla.) Escambia four-star wide receiver Jacob Copeland decided to reopen his recruiting process on Saturday night.
The 6-foot-1, 188-pounder originally committed to the Gators in August. However, even after the pledge, he was still looking at other programs, visiting Alabama more times this season then he had Florida.
He is the third prospect, joining Ja'Marr Chase and Taylor Upshaw, to decommit from Florida since the Gators parted way with former head coach Jim McElwain.
Of the three, Copeland is the one most likely to give the Gators a second look when a new coach is hired.
