Four-star cornerback to officially visit Florida this fall
Decision day is nearing for Port Arthur (Tx.) Memorial four-star cornerback Kary Vincent Jr. and the Gators are just one of the teams remaining in the mix.
The speedy defensive back will decide on July 10 between Florida, LSU, Florida State, TCU, Texas A&M, and Auburn.
It’s worth noting that Vincent hasn’t visited Florida yet, but plans to make a trip to Gainesville in mid-July, after his commitment. If he doesn’t make it to Florida this summer, he said he plans on using two of his five official visits to see Florida and Florida State.
“Both of those guys are recruiting me hard,” said Vincent of the Gators and Seminoles. “Coach (Gray) out of Florida is trying to get me up to Florida. We’re going to make that happen. Florida State – me and (defensive coordinator Charles Kelly) talk a lot. I know a lot of recruits there. They’re recruiting me pretty hard so it’ll be a real tough decision.”
