Four-star DL Derick Hunter, Jr. relishes family-like vibe in Gainesville
Due to the wild fires in California, five-star Kayvon Thibodeaux was forced to scrap last weekend's official visit to Florida, but the Gators still welcomed another blue-chip defensive lineman to campus in Derick Hunter.
The 6-foot-5, 285-pound Hunter has been committed to Florida State since June, but is certainly keeping the door cracked open for additional suitors, including the Gators.
The Fort Myers native officially visited Texas A&M a couple of months back, and plans to make the journey up to Tallahassee this weekend for official visit No. 3.
Kirby Smart and Georgia will welcome Hunter to campus on Dec. 15 as well.
