Last season, the first edition of Friday Night Lights was an overwhelming success with many of the top high school prospects from throughout the Southeast in attendance. This year's version may top even that with over thirty prospects who are rated at least a four-star on Rivals.com expected in for the event.

GATORS REAPED THE REWARDS LAST YEAR

With players more inclined to attend one day camps nowadays, last year this camp was loaded with future Gators.

Players such as Tim Tebow and Jarred Fayson became good friends while attending this particular camps.

Others such as Jamar Hornsby and Justin Williams also met and for a while were in constant phone contact.

Corey Hobbs, Marcus Gilbert, Jermaine Cunningham (junior day only) and A.J. Jones also showed up for the weekend.

They all ended up signing with the Gators in the end.

RIVALS100 WELL REPRESENTED

If they all show up as expected, there will be at least eleven and perhaps up to fourteen members of the Rivals100 in the Swamp on Friday night.

Headlining the list are a pair of in-state five-star prospects. Receiver Deonte Thompson and defensive end Torrey Davis were both at the last Junior Day held by the Gators as well.

Others from the Sunshine State are quarterback Stephen Garcia. The dual-threat signal caller is making his fourth or fifth visit to Florida in the last four months. He told InsidetheGators.net that he will hang out, but not participate since he is leaving for the Elite 11 on Saturday.

Safety Major Wright and running backs Armando Allen and Enrique Davis will join Gator commitment defensive end D'Angelo McCray to round out the instate contingent.

From out of state committed defensive end Sidell Corley is riding in with close friend, safety Michael McNeil from Alabama. Another duo coming in together is North Carolina prospects athlete Greg Little and defensive back Chris Culliver.

Athlete Joe Haden from Maryland has also confirmed he will be under the lights.

EVEN MORE FOUR-STARS

The list of four-star prospects includes committed prospects, athlete Chris Rainey, cornerback Ahmad Black, offensive lineman LaShawn Pouncey and defensive end Jerry Howard.

Also from in-state there's linebacker/safety Lorenzo Edwards, cornerback Ahmad Black, cornerback Akeem Auguste, running back Bo Williams, receiver Dion Lecorn, defensive tackle Ian Williams and linebacker Brandon Hicks.

Coming in from out of state are Florida State commitment, offensive lineman Antwane Greenlee, receiver Israel Troupe and running back Jonathan Dwyer.

Some who were expected in such as four-star prospects, offensive lineman Trinton Sturdivant and wide receiver James Kirkendoll notified InsidetheGators.net on Friday that they were unable to attend. Others such as five-star Terrance Toliver were unavailable for confirmation as to whether they would make it in or not.
