Gators CB commit Jaydon Hill rates official visit a '11' on 1-10 scale

Despite having the most talent-loaded visitors list over the weekend, the Gators welcomed in just one of their commits for an official visit while the majority of the class plans to visit later in the year.

Cornerback Jaydon Hill, who teamed up with Florida roughly a month ago, wrapped up his official visit earlier this morning and said the Gators delivered in every way they could, especially with their game-day atmosphere.

"I liked every part of it," Hill said. "The DBs that we have, they're playing great. (Brad) Stewart, that pick-six, that was a big part of the game.

"It was probably the loudest game environment I've been to."

Hill earned a Gators offer back in June and then made the trek down to compete at Friday Night Lights. The Alabama native learned a whole lot during his first visit to Gainesville, but really attacked the X's and O's this weekend.

"It was great," Hill said. "I talked to literally all the defensive coaches a lot. We sat down and talked to them. It was great. They said they can put me out there on an island and stuff like that because I cover bigger receivers.

"Also that I can make plays on the ball and I have great instincts."

Hill also relished the opportunity to work directly with Charlton Warren at Friday Night Lights. The tight-knit relationship is in place, but the defensive back has a strong liking for Warren's coaching style as well.

"It's great," Hill said of his relationship with Charlton Warren. "Coach Warren, he's like my guy and we talk 24/7. He's a real cool guy and shoots you straight. He's a technician. He does a good job of explaining and I like that."

The three-star defensive back has also been relentless while wearing his recruiting cap. Both Hill and Diwun Black have took full advantage of social media, and it's difficult to find a day when the two aren't actively recruiting prospects, and that goes for basketball as well.

"I was on all of the recruits," Hill said. "I know Keon (Zipperer) and Lloyd (Summerall) for sure. I'm on them. They're going to be here shortly, but the dude who is committed to Auburn (Keiondre Jones), I'm trying to get him. Elijah (Higgins), I know it's us and Stanford with him.

"Lewis (Cine), I've been on him hard. I wouldn't be surprised if he did come."

With his Gators official visit now in the books, is Hill completely done with the visit process other than journeying down to Gainesville?

"I might take about two more (official visits)," Hill said. "I might go down to Texas A&M and South Carolina just to go. But I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if I didn't because I don't really care about it."

Where does Hill rate this weekend's official visit on a 1-10 scale?

"Eleven for sure," Hill said.
