Florida held steady at No. 6 in the second College Football Playoff rankings Tuesday.

The Gators (7-1) were ranked sixth in the initial poll last week and remain outside of the top five following their 34-10 win over Kentucky.

The top four are still Alabama, Notre Dame, Clemson and Ohio State, while Texas A&M sits ahead of UF with the head-to-head matchup.

The Gators can jump the Aggies with a win over No. 1 Alabama in the conference title game. But first, they must clinch the SEC East by beating Tennessee on Saturday before their regular season finale against LSU.
