Gators show linebacker he is a top priority

After attending a camp over the weekend, the Florida coaching staff has made it abundantly clear to Lakeland (Fla.) Kathleen three-star outside linebacker Ventrell Miller that he is a top priority at the linebacker position.

“I didn’t participate in the camp, I just went to talk to coaches,” said Miller. “I sat down with individual coaches and stuff and they talked to me. They were saying that they wanted me, they like my style and how and play, stuff like that.”The 6-foot-1, 225-pound linebacker says that he has been in contact with Florida Gators defensive backs coach Torrian Gray and has also spoken a little bit with linebackers coach Randy Shannon.

“Coach Gray was glad to get me up there. He is always hitting me up and stuff and we have a constant relationship that’s great. I got to sit down with Coach Shannon too. He was just saying he coached some of the best linebackers and if I go there, he can coach me.
