Gators Spring Practice Day 14 Insider: Franks-to-Callaway on display
ITG was on deck for the open portion of Florida’s 14th practice of the spring Wednesday afternoon inside of the indoor practice facility, the Gators' final practice before their annual spring game in The Swamp on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. ET. The portion open to the media as usual consisted of a flex period, an 11-on-11 fastball period, independent period, and two more periods.
Below are observations of what we were able to catch from the action Wednesday afternoon.
--For the eighth time in nine practice portions open to the media this spring, Feleipe Franks worked with the first-string offense in the 11-on-11 fastball drill. The first-team offense and defense looked the same as usual:
QB – Feleipe Franks
RB – Jordan Scarlett
WR – Antonio Callaway
WR – Brandon Powell
TE – DeAndre Goolsby
TE – C’yontai Lewis
LT – Martez Ivey
LG – Brett Heggie
C – T.J. McCoy
RG – Fred Johnson
RT – Jawaan Taylor
