Haupt goes public
The No. 18 rated offensive guard in the nation, Merritt Island (Fla.) Eddie Haupt tore open his shirt to reveal a Florida Gator t-shirt this evening on the TV show Countdown to Signing Day.

In ending a process that he called 'chaotic' Haupt picked the Gators over Miami.
When asked to describe his style of play, the 6-foot-4, 290 pound lineman replied, "I like to get after it and punish people."
Haupt, who will enroll at Florida in January, is the No. 29 rated player in the state of Florida.
