When Miami (Fla.) Northwestern cornerback Divaad Wilson committed to Florida last month he was an unranked prospect with only a small handful of offers.

Since pledging to the Gators, Wilson has been a standout at several combines, continued to reel in new offers left and right, and was a big mover in the latest Rivals250 ranking, moving from unrated to the N0. 239 rated player in the country.

Wilson isn’t really one to follow recruiting rankings closely, but was happy to see his hard work being noticed.

“You know I really didn’t think much about the rankings bump, but you know I was happy still,” said Wilson. In my mind the work isn’t done until I am ranked the No. 1 player for my class. That is just my mindset with all of that. It shows my hard work is paying off, but my work isn’t done.”
