The Commitment: Though Florida didn’t offer the three-star back until last Friday the staff has had their eye on him for quite some time now. Davis was slated to make his commitment to North Carolina this past Monday, but the offer from the Gators threw a wrench into the works. Growing up a Florida fan, Davis was waiting for an offer from the Gators. Less then a week after receiving the offer, Davis was ready to announce his commitment.
Impact on Class: After losing a commitment from Adarius Lemons on Tuesday night Florida now has Davis as the lone running back pledge in the Class of 2017.
