In-state defensive end offered

With a little over a week to go until National Signing Day the Florida Gators have extended an offer to Sebring (Fla.) defensive end Luke Ancrum.
According to the two-star defender the offer came after a visit from UF defensive line coach Terrell William.

"It was good and exciting," said Ancrum. "Coach [Terrell] Williams and I have been talking for a little while and he came by the school today [Monday] and I got offered."
The 6-foot-5, 250-pounder also spoke with Florida head coach Jim McElwain, who confirmed the offer, over the phone.
"He told me about the offer and just told me what Coach Williams had said. He said he wants me to be a Gator."
At this time schools like Florida, Florida International, Connecticut, and UMass are among his leaders. Previously Ancrum was going to visit Pitt this coming weekend, but bumped that visit in favor of a trip to Gainesville for an official visit.
"I'm looking for a great academic program and see how campus life is."
