During what was a rainy full-pads practice outside at the lacrosse fields at Donald R. Dizney Stadium on Monday afternoon, the Gators took a hit on the injury front.

According to Florida head coach Jim McElwain, redshirt junior offensive guard Antonio Riles went down during Monday's practice - the fifth day of fall camp - with a leg injury. McElwain noted that Riles was "having a really good camp" up until his injury Monday.

"I have no idea how serious it is," McElwain said. "We'll get it looked at. When we know, we'll let you know."

Riles has seen time as a first-teamer at left guard during the spring and at the start of fall camp, while sophomore Martez Ivey (shoulder) returns from his injury and gets acclimated to practicing. Last season, Riles appeared in 11 games and started six of them.

Florida's other main options at guard without Riles including starting right guard Tyler Jordan, Ivey, Brandon Sandifer, Richerd Desir-Jones and Nick Buchanan.

Meanwhile, senior wide receiver Chris Thompson was held out of Monday's practice with a hip injury.

"Doesn't seem serious, because he just pulled himself out of the middle of practice" McElwain said. "But other than that, we're kind of doing OK."
