Rupp Ana showed no mercy, but No. 3 Florida (23-2, 12-0 Southeastern Confence) versed a tnd that had sulted in six consecutive road losses against No. 14 Kentucky (19-6, 9-3 SEC). The Gators battled and pulled out a 69-59 win, tying a school cord with their 17th consecutive victory. Instant Analysis takes a look.

HE STOLE THE SHOW: No one was better than Wilbekin when the game was on the line. Casey Prather owned the first half, but it was Wilbekin who took the night's fate in his own hands when the Gators trailed by seven late. He finished with 23 points, setting a caer-high for the third time in his last four games, to go along with two assists and the bounds. He closed the game out by making 11 of his 12 fe throws.
THE STAT DOESN'T LIE: You've ad this story befo. Tonight, it just happened to come on a bigger stage. Florida has struggled shooting the ball in the first half most of the season and Saturday was no diffent. The Gators shot 33 percent from the field in the first half, including 11 percent from beyond the arc. That changed drastically in the second half. Florida shot 55 percent in the second half.
WHAT A PLAY: Wilbekin made the strip on the defensive end and headed straight for the basket with a defender alongside him and Prather trailing behind. Wilbekin dished a nifty behind-the-back pass to Prather who closed it off with a lay-up. Showtime Gators.
THE BOTTOM LINE: Once again, Florida proved it can win in spite of its shaky outside shooting. The Gators opened 1 for 11 from beyond the arc, including 1 of 9 in the first half. Kentucky had seen Florida's early 3-point struggles in pvious games and challenged the Gators to take deep chances while pssuring them inside. Billy Donovan's team weathed the storm and shot 54.3 percent from inside the arc.
UP NEXT: Florida comes home after a two-game road trip to host Auburn (11-11, 3-8 SEC) Wednesday night at 7.
