WHAT THEY'RE SAYING
Nease head coach Craig Howard -
"I think it's important in building a program on any level that your best players are your hardest workers," Howard said. "If they aren't, you'll see problems develop within the team. With Tim, he's a great player and he's our hardest worker.
"I can still remember the first practice we had here his first year. It was two and half hours after (practice) and I'm looking out there in the rain and he's working on pass drops. I asked an assistant coach who was out there and he said it was our starting quarterback."
"He's a quarterback who can fit into any offense and make it better," Howard said. "He will fit into the offenses at Alabama or Florida not only because of his ability but because he has what I call competitive greatness."

"Tebow is another player who on tape is a top player in the country, possessing the ability to hurt teams with both his arm and his feet.
"He showed a lot to come out to the NIKE Camp when many people were in his ear telling him he didn't need to and he was in the midst of baseball season - the competitiveness that it takes to be great. That plus the obvious physical gifts that he brings to the table has made him one of the most heavily recruited players in the country and an easy choice for the EA SPORTS Elite 11."

Named the No. 1 quarterback at the Tallahassee NIKE Camp -
Tim Tebow (Nease, St. Augustine FL)
6-3, 217 lbs, 4.69 40, 38 reps, 32.0 VJ, 4.16 shuttle, 96.92 SPARQ
Probably the most talked about prospect entering the camp with 30+ offers and a ton of focus upon him. Despite not having thrown a football since early February, showed plus arm strength and great touch on his deep ball and fades. Struggled to shake off the rust for most of the day in terms of getting a consistent spin on the ball and accuracy, as he was 50/50 most of the time before having a good one-on-one period. Still showed the big arm and the competitive nature that is what makes him special. Tested off the charts in the combine elements, registering the highest SPARQ Rating of the year at any position, let alone QB. A great kid off the field and on. Completed 257 of 402 passes for 4,304 yards with 46 TDs and six interceptions as a junior while rushing for 1,272 yards and 24 more scores. Earned Student Sports Junior All-American honors and Class 3A 1st team all-state last fall. Has offers from Florida, Michigan, Georgia, FSU, Miami, LSU, USC and many more and is yet to narrow things down. 3.5 GPA and 890 SAT.
