As far as recruiting is concerned, Griffin McDowell had a pretty straight forward process that saw him commit to Mississippi State in late June of last year and stay a commit for the last seven months.
Now, with Florida making a strong pitch in the last week, it is not a guarantee that he will land with the Bulldogs when it is all said and done.
McDowell, who met with Florida head coach Dan Mullen and offensive line coach John Hevesy at his school last Thursday, took his official visit to Gainesville this weekend.
He spoke with Inside the Gators about what the coaches had to say to him during his visit.
