McElwain, Nussmeier review Florida's three available quarterbacks
With Luke Del Rio sidelined for the spring after undergoing surgery on his non-throwing shoulder - the redshirt sophomore will have a procedure on his throwing shoulder done Wednesday as well - and 2017 signee Jake Allen not arriving until the summer, Florida has seen three quarterbacks take nearly all of the snaps this spring: redshirt freshmen Feleipe Franks, Kyle Trask and freshman early enrollee Kadarius Toney.
Although the pads haven't come on yet in practice, both head coach Jim McElwain and offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Doug Nussmeier had plenty to say about each of the three signal-callers Tuesday. Below, we take a look at their evaluations at this point of Franks, Trask and Toney.
