Florida head coach Jim McElwain updated the status of a number of injured Gators on Wednesday during his bye week press conference - and maybe his most dismal update concerned redshirt senior defensive end Bryan Cox Jr.

Cox, who suffered his thumb injury pre-game while setting pads, did not play against Missouri and is currently wearing a cast. Cox has played through an ankle injury and knee tendinitis this season.
