Lynn Kidd of The Rock School (Gainesville, Fla.) is one of the most skilled power forwards in the 2021 class and is already on the radar of several high major programs before he has even played the first game of his sophomore season.
Last summer the 6-foot-9, 220-pounder relocated with his mother and sister to Gainesville, enrolled at The Rock and had an immediate impact on the team as a freshman. He followed that up with impressive performances during the travel team season, with the Georgia Stars 16U team in the Nike EYBL, which led to July offers from Florida, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss and Xavier. Last Sunday South Florida hosted Kidd and his mother on an unofficial visit and extended an offer before he left campus.
GatorsTerritory.com was at The Rock on Wednesday afternoon to watch the team workout and Kidd gave us a quick interview afterwards.
