Coynis Miller is a national recruit with many eyes on him this week.

The 6-foot-3, 295 pound defensive lineman out of Birmingham (Ala.) Jackson-Olin is scheduled to reveal his commitment Saturday October 14th, his 18th birthday.

Who will it be? It is down to Alabama, Auburn and Florida.

His list still is in that reverse order.

"It is close, very close, but I would still say Florida is on top, then Auburn and Alabama," said Miller. "It is really hard to really have an order because all of them are coming at me hard, but if I had to list them in order, it would still be the same for me."

With that said, Miller still is considering each school. The Gators have not ran away from the Crimson Tide or Tigers — two in-state schools.

"It is so tight. I like all three schools the same, but the way Florida has recruited me gives them the little edge for me.

"I was at Alabama last week, then Auburn Saturday, so it is a lot to think about. Each school still has a chance. My mind is still not made up yet.

That could surprise some. The fact that Miller said that he has not made his decision yet, that is. Especially after this tweet he sent out last week.

When he said "done" in that tweet, he really meant, almost done.

"I still have to film the ending," said Miller. "I will do that closer to Saturday when I know for sure what school I am going to commit to. I shot all of the video except for the final part."

The fact that Miller is announcing on his birthday in the middle of October has caught quite a few off guard. He had been talking about how he'd likely wait until after the season to make his decision.

What changed that?

"I have always wanted to commit as soon as I was ready and I am just ready to get it over with. It just kind of hit me. I have talked to some people close to me, I thought about it hard and there is no better time to announce my commitment than on my birthday.

"Once it hit me, I knew my birthday was the right time to do it. It is the perfect time."

He plans to have family and friends with him Saturday at home when he announces his decision. The exact time is still a work in progress.

The four-star senior knows he will be ready though. And he knows he will put his name on the Alabama, Auburn or Florida commitment list.

"Each of those schools have made me feel comfortable and I know I like each of them a lot," said Miller.

"At Auburn, it is all about family and that is how they make me feel. Florida has made me feel like a real priority from the beginning and my visit over the summer was the best one I have been on. Alabama always has a great team and they feel I can come in, play early and make an impact because they are losing guys at my position.

"It is going to be a tough decision, but I will be ready. I have felt like I have an idea of the school, but I still have to make sure. I will know for sure Saturday."

Since announcing he will make his decision a couple of weeks ago, Miller said each school has turned it with him one extra notch. Each is coming at him a little harder and that has made it a little tougher for him to make his decision.

The countdown is on and Miller is set to decide in five days.
