With National Signing Day officially wrapped up, Florida head coach Jim McElwain now turns his attention to filling out the remainder of the staff.

With defensive coordinator Geoff Collins leaving to become Temple’s head coach and offensive line coach Mike Summers taking the same job at Louisville, Florida currently has two openings on its staff.

“We'll come in tomorrow. Got a couple things to wrap up,” McElwain said Wednesday during his NSD press conference. “Got a couple coaches to hire. We'll get that done here shortly.”

Florida could be filling at least one of those vacancies soon. Per GridironNow.com, UF should announce the hiring of West Virginia running backs coach JaJuan Seider to the same position in the next few days. With the move, current Florida running backs coach Tim Skipper would move to the defensive side of the ball, where he’s spent the majority of his coaching career, according to the report.

With Randy Shannon being promoted to defensive coordinator, Florida currently has an opening on the staff at linebackers coach – although Shannon could help coach that position as well.
